PROJECT SIX: financial aid for Families in Azzah and Dheisheh Refugee Camps

SEPTEMBER DECEMBER 2025

DONATION GOAL

AU $8,000.00

Made in Palestine is committed to supporting two Palestinian families living in Bethlehem’s refugee camps — Azzah Camp and Dheisheh Camp. Since the start of the genocide in Gaza, raids across the West Bank have intensified dramatically. Families now live under constant threat, facing incursions by the Israeli Occupation Forces and pressure from the Palestinian Authority that erode their sense of safety in their own homes.

These conditions have created a climate of deep instability and trauma. Parents are raising children amidst repeated raids, frequent water cut-offs, and the loss of income sources that once sustained them. Access to healthcare is limited and prohibitively expensive, leaving medical needs unmet. The growing isolation of the West Bank since October 2023 has compounded these challenges, cutting families off from external networks of support.

This project is not about charity. It is about upholding dignity, safety, and rights under occupation. Grounded in international humanitarian law and a human-rights framework, we act in solidarity with these families to ensure their needs are met and their voices are not forgotten.

Through this project, Made in Palestine will provide direct financial support to both families so they can:

  • Secure food and clean water under conditions of instability

  • Access essential healthcare and medication otherwise out of reach

  • Support their children’s health and wellbeing through safety, nutrition, education and opportunities for play

  • Relieve the economic pressure and isolation worsened by raids, restrictions, and ongoing insecurity
